We’re in a recession, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t look & feel fabulous!
For those of us not in NYC we have online sample sale sites, but if you just so happen to live near the Big Apple you might want to check out a few of the local NY sample sales that were featured today in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette:

Sarah Lolley, in her article Shopping Sample Sales … Recessionista Style, also mentions the online sample sale sites, Gilt, ideeli, Hautelook, and RueLala she also includes a photo of Gilt’s warehouse!
“Online sales are often like treasure hunts, where both lesser-known and premier designers sell wholesale from their lines. Often there are only a limited number of sizes available, so it pays to be a quick clicker. Also different from rack raking is that each item is modeled and photographed for the sale. However, as a now-seasoned online sample sale junkie, I can tell you it pays to know your exact measurements to get the best fit. Returns are accepted for shoes and clothes.” –Read More
