What’s new for Gilt’s Home?
Not only has the Gilt Home storefront changed, from the Gilt trademark black/gold to a white/black/mauve, Gilt has added editorial content and curated boutiques.
The new Gilt Home offers four different ways to shop, daily flash sales, editorial features that are shoppable, top designer curated collections and Gilt wouldn’t be Gilt without luxury collections. Take for instance this $520 Torta candle from Missoni Home.
Over the past few months I’ve noticed that Gilt will have special offer type items, i.e. if you leave an item in your cart and click on it (it’s probably sold out – but there will be similar items that you can shop below.) This is also the same for certain items from one brand, yet the similar items are not featured on their homepage. Not only will Gilt Home offer limited time flash sales, they’re now offering traditional full-priced merchandise that can be purchased any time (that’s right, no time limits!).
Hot brands that have only been available to the designer industry will now be offered for sale including Stark, Ted Boerner, William Earle, and Espacio and A. Rudin.

Earlier this year Gilt acquired acquired Decorati, a platform for both interior decorators and consumers seeking professional design advice.. As a result, Decorati’s founder, interior designer Shane Reilly, is now a lead designer for Gilt Home. The new Gilt Home is also led by General Manager Jason Goldberger, Editorial Director Tom Delavan (formerly editor-at-large of domino magazine), and Divisional Merchandising Manager Alexander Ogof.
